The ambient temperature sensor measures the temperature of the surrounding air. The sensor's output signal is between 0 and 10 V, corresponding to a range of -40 to +90°C. The ambient sensors are used to measure sunlight intensity, temperature and wind speed at the installation site and to calculate the Performance Ratio (PR) of the installation on this basis. The sensors are connected to the SolarEdge control and communication gateway and the measurements are displayed on the SolarEdge monitoring portal. Up to three sensors can be connected to the control and communication gateway. Additional sensors can be installed if more gates are used.
